Attorney and Nonprofit Founder Abiola Abdulkareem

A Duluth, Georgia-based attorney with more than a decade of experience managing a diverse range of cases, Abiola Abdulkareem works as a legal assistant with The Doherty Law Firm in Atlanta. He has been with the personal injury and civil litigation firm since 2018, drafting and preparing correspondence, notices, and legal pleadings. Abiola Abdulkareem is also responsible for the opening and closing of client files.

Mr. Abdulkareem previously served as a volunteer caseworker with the Nigerian Association for Truth and Right. Working out of Lagos, Nigeria, he drafted petitions to help release individuals who were illegally detained for long periods. Before this, he spent nine years with J and Q Legal Consultants in the United Kingdom, where he directed the management of juvenile and Department for Children, Schools, and Families cases.

Abiola Abdulkareem has additional experience with the Bail for Immigration Detainees and the Citizens Advice Bureau in the United Kingdom. Complementing this work, he holds a master of laws in international commercial and financial law from the University of Wolverhampton. He is also the founder of the Jagunlabi Foundation, which provides a range of services to individuals facing poverty.
